We are in the 3rd year of the Baton Rouge Irish Italian Parade, www.greenwhiterouge.com , and we had an incredible 2nd year with our new route. We showed a 40% increase over our first year in parade participants. I look forward to another successful year with your continued support.

We think we have a better route and time and we hope you'll join us this year. We will be parading right through Southdown's neighborhood and then down next to LSU's campus ending at Walk-ons. (Where we will have an after party)

We have selected a wonderful charity to support this year. 'Just Cause' Their Mission: Just Cause La, Inc.'s primary mission will be finding just causes in our community to provide assistance. Our purpose is "just 'cause we care and can make a difference in numbers." Just Cause La, Inc. is to support people in their time of need and to create a more perfect Baton Rouge. As citizens, we believe we are charged with the duty to helping each other in times of need. Wherever there is a need or just cause in the lives of the children and families of our community, Just Cause La, Inc. will try to make a difference.

In fact, just this past November I helped Just Cause raise money and pass out Thankgiving Dinners to Grandma's Raisig Children. It was a very rewarding experience.

If you would like to enter a float the fees are as follows:

Super, Float length 50' or greater $1,500
Regular, Float length 40' to 49' $750
Small, Float length 20' to 39' $550
Mini, Float length less than 20' $350
Marching group $1.00 per head
Float with any advertising $2,000

1. You can get a commercial float for $2000 and parade and throw whatever you want. This would include advertising in our mailings, website, facebook page, and radio ads.
